Our owner has been working in the trailer industry since he was 14. The knowledge he learned along the way, and his interest in adventure lead him to build his first teardrop camper in 2014. After he built that camper he was hooked. Our owner, Andrew Kaufmann started Turtle up Trailers in spring of 2017 and built the first Beacon prototype. There have been may changes to the Beacon since that time but the dedication to quality has never changed. 

     We have made tremendous headway on our business structure in the past few years and are launching a brand new order process in 2023. We have hired skilled technicians and streamlined the manufacturing process to better serve our customers. We are dedicated to constantly improving our trailers to meet the needs of our owners.
